Amenities

Full housekeeping units, air conditioned with kitchenette, bath, picnic table. Linens provided. Bring cookware, dishes, utensils, and beach towels. Each unit has a picnic table (see note below re: picnic tables with Poolsides). Sleeping space includes beds, the floor (see details below).

Pool, lake fishing and swimming are available at the Resort for no extra charge. Activities at the Resort include boat rentals, a 9-hole golf course, Water Wars, and miniature golf.

Families need to provide their own food, dishes/utensils and cookware for Camp. There is a grocery store on the grounds for extra or forgotten items, a laundromat, and snack bar. Lakeside Cabin

Older, smaller cabins. All have lake view with lawn in front, large trees, picnic table.

Lakesides #2-7, on swimming beach: $109 per night. 1 double, 1 single, 1 futon. Sleeps 5, maximum occupancy 5.

Lakesides #8-30, view with no direct lake access: $99 per night. 1 double, 1 single, 1 futon. Sleeps 5, maximum occupancy 5.

Lakeside Cabin with Bedroom

5 available. $105 per night. 2 double, 1 single, 1 futon. Sleeps 7, maximum occupancy 7.

Poolside Cabins

More motel-like duplexes: $107 per night. All Poolside picnic tables will be used for activities Wed - Sun. Families wishing this type of accommodation must be willing to relinquish their table for these activities. 1 queen, 1 double, 1 futon. Sleeps 6, maximum occupancy 6.

Mobile Homes

Two bedrooms, more spacious for larger families. $155 per night. 1 king, 1 double, 1 queen sleeper. Sleeps 6, maximum occupancy 8. (For more than 6, bring sleeping bags)

Lakeview Cabin

New in 2007, $195 per night. Nicely decorated 2 bedroom duplexes. 1 king, 1 queen, 1 queen sleeper. Sleeps 6, maximum occupancy 8. (For more than 6, bring sleeping bags)

RV/Tent Sites

Water, 30 amp power (20 & 50 amp at some sites), sewer, picnic table, access to bathrooms & showers, coin-op laundry. NO fire pits: you may bring your own. Back-in & Pull-thru.

Premium Site (front lawn/select sites): $40 per night.

Standard Site (#12-93, #200 level): $36 per night.

Maximum 1 primary and/or 2 secondary units, OR 3 secondary units per site, 6 persons per site.

Base rate includes 1 primary and 2 secondary units or 3 secondary units.

• Secondary units: Tow vehicle, Tent, Car/Truck, Boat/Utility trailers

Extra Charges

All cabin rates quoted are for posted sleeping occupancy only.

Pet Charge

$10 per animal per night, max. $75 per cabin. Well-behaved, house-broken pets are welcome in our cabins for an additional charge of $10.00 per pet per night. IMPORTANT: In order to keep our resort pet-friendly, it is vital that our guests observe responsible pet-owner etiquette, including not leaving your pet unattended in our cabins, picking up any pet waste in and around the units immediately, and cleaning up fur from the units prior to checking out. All pets must be registered and kept on a leash, and pet owners must follow park rules available in resort office. There is no charge for pets in the campground.

Extra person charge (not immediate family)

If there are extra persons 18 & older staying with you, there is a $5 per person charge per night.

Extra RV unit charge

Rates quoted for RV sites are for 1 primary and 2 secondary units, or 3 secondary units (i.e. trailer with car & 1 tow, or 1 car with 2 tents). Extra RV units are $10 per night each.

Accessibility

Three wheelchair-accessible units are available: Mobile #51, Poolside #31, & Lakeside #8.

Check in/out times

Check-in is after 4 p.m., checkout is 11 a.m. for cabins; for RV Park check-in after 3 p.m. and check-out is 1 p.m. The turnover is huge for our group, & the house keepers do much to accommodate our large group each year! Plan to arrive after 4 p.m. (or make alternate plans if arriving early), & be ready to check out earlier than 11 a.m. if possible, to help out.

The Fine Print

If you need to cancel your accommodation prior to 7/22, please call Laura. If canceling after 7/22 contact the Sun Lakes Office. NOTE:If you do not notify us of cancellation, then no money will be refunded.

Rates quoted here are what Sun Lakes charges for accom­modations/fees. An additional amount, WACAP Family Camp fees, will be added per person to help support the variety of activities Camp offers. These are listed on the Registration Form to follow.

Please note that WACAP families will be given first priority for all sites. Be assured that each year there has been room in the campground for overflow of extended family and friends.If all sites are taken, we DO keep a waiting list. Cancellations happen, and chances are good that your family will get a site if you are flexible.

Remember, Camp Fees are based on family size: this is a separate fee from the accommodation fee. Families will pay both fees if staying on site, or only the Camp Fee if staying elsewhere. This will continue to help support the variety of Camp activities that are planned for everyone. Please read your registration form carefully - your Camp reservation depends on it!

All WACAP Family Camp days must be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis by online registration AND deposit by mail . Sites are assigned by family size: no less than 6 in mobiles, 5 in Lakesides with bedroom, and 4 in Poolsides (feel free to share with another family). Camp run Wednesday to Sunday, so please plan accordingly.

We honor requests with the above guidelines in mind. Remember, each family must send in their own registration, even if sharing a cabin. Are you sharing and/or want to be in a certain vicinity with other families? Then be sure that all families involved get their own registration in right away. This makes granting of special requests more likely!
